September Goals

1. Finish all of the BIG house renovations. (wall removal, floors) I know it's not very practical to expect that everything will be finished because our to-do list is very long. It would be really nice if the bigger projects were done by the end of the month.

2. Enjoy the West Texas Fair and Rodeo - We are Abilene newbies but we are excited to attend the parade, check out the fair and see the rodeo.

They are already setting up!

3. Explore a new place in Abilene - Last month we checked out a few new places in Abilene. We love trying new things and like shopping and eating local. I can't wait to see what we find next. Leave us a comment if you know a fun place that we should try!

last month at Mezamiz

4. Track our monthly spending - Austin and I have done both Crown Financial and Dave Ramsey. We were doing pretty good on tracking our monthly budget until we moved. We really need to get back on track in monitoring our finances. This is a big goal for us this month and time consuming with everything else going on!

5. Get lots of snuggles - I have a new nephew and niece joining us sometime this month! I'm excited to spend some quality time with family. I plan on getting in some good baby snuggles as well as playing with the older brothers.

My nephew Jake with Baker at the Dallas Zoo.

Baker with my nephew Barret in Seattle last summer.

6. Focus on Fisher's eating habits - Now that we have a functional kitchen again we really need to focus on what Fisher is eating. He is also seeing a new pediatrician this months who specializes in child nutrition. We are hoping she has some insight to how we can help him expand his taste/textures issues.

I'm hoping we meet all of these goals! I can't wait to revisit them at the end of the month and see how we did. Wish us luck!
